Keystone Gallery 20th Anniversary Celebration
September 10th, 2011 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Keystone Gallery will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary on Saturday, September 10th from 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Since 1991, we’ve been talking about fossils, art and tourism to people from all over the United States and the world. That’s a lot of talking in 20 years.
Keystone Gallery has been featured in numerous television programs and is included in three issues of Kansas! magazine. We are the representatives of the 8 Wonders of Kansas (Monument Rocks) and now part of the Western Vistas Historic Byway.
Over the last few years two fossil specimens found by Chuck Bonner have hit the news! Bonnerichthys, a huge filter-feeding fish and “Polly” the pregnant plesiosaur have both been part of scientific papers published in Science Magazine. Newspapers all over the world ran the stories and the fossils have added new information to the world of paleontology.
“Conveniently Located in the Middle of Nowhere” was our first slogan back in 1991.
