Centro Cultural Buffalo Bill

The Buffalo Bill Cultural Center is a Community Travel Information Center offering regional and state-wide brochures, maps and travel information. Open Mon – Fri 9 am – 5 pm and Sat 11 am – 5 pm. The center offers multiple permanent exhibits such as Buffalo Bill’s time as a scout, the Western Cattle Trails, the American Bison, Monument Station, crop production in Kansas, the history of the ghost town Sheridan, Buffalo Bill’s circa map 1860-1880 and rock and fossil displays that have all been collected in Kansas. On display is artwork from various Kansas artists such as Vi Fick, Chuck Bonner, Charlie Norton and Dennis Schiel. While parents are entertained looking at history exhibits and artwork, the children can interact with our various magnetic puzzles, tracks and scats or anatomy of a cornstalk. Before you go, be sure you get your picture with Fred the Buffalo!
