Oakley Past & Present Mural is located downtown on the local grocery store. Buffalo Bill, the Smoky Hill Trail & railroad, Monument Rocks, and fossils of the past are combined with and ode to pheasant hunting and the Oakley Plainsman school mascot of the present, this mural provides many photo opportunities. The mural was painted by Hays, Kansas artist Dennis Schiel.
